Dr Ben Moussa graduated from the Medical University of Tunis in 2007. Discovering a love of Ophthalmology, she specialised in ophthalmic surgery and the treatment of paediatric and degenerative diseases of the eye.

Experience

She did her fellowship in Retinal disorders and macular degenerations at the prestigious Ophthalmology department at Intercommunal Hospital of Créteil, Paris one of the highest volume centres in France specialized in degenerative and hereditary retinal diseases and in research concerning these conditions. She obtained her Diploma in Retinal Imaging and Macular Treatment from the University of Paris.

She has trained in Cataract and Refractive surgery at the Ophthalmology Department of Rothschild Foundation of Paris under some of France’s most eminent consultant eye surgeons and obtained her diploma of Phacoemulsification and refractive surgery from the University of Bordeaux and the University Sabatier of Toulouse, France.

Dr Ben Moussa has also taken advanced training in in-situ corneal excision surgical techniques at the Mid-West Eye-Banks in the USA, which is renowned for its dedication to the restoration of sight.

She has been published and peer reviewed in several publications and international Ophthalmology journals and has presented several studies at international medical conferences.

Dr Ben Moussa has been working at Dubai London Clinic and Speciality Hospital for the past 4 years.

  • Diagnosis and management of retinal disorders (Age related Macular degeneration, Diabetic retinopathy and Retinal Vascular Disorders )
